Welcome to the 1st Reculver & Herne Scout Group. My name is Rob and I am the Group Lead Volunteer, overseeing our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers across our sections from Squirrels to Scouts.

Whether you’re considering joining our Group, already a member, or supporting as a parent, carer or volunteer, we’re delighted to welcome you. Our aim is to provide fun, adventure and Skills for Life, helping young people build confidence, make lasting friendships and discover new experiences in a safe and supportive environment. We are proud to be part of the UK Scouting movement and look forward to sharing the adventure with you.

Young People First: Safeguarding and safety come first in everything we do.

Keeping young people safe is our priority. If something doesn’t feel right online, you can report it directly to CEOP for advice and support.

We understand that it can feel daunting as a parent or carer as your child or young person grows up and becomes more active online. The digital world can offer great opportunities, but it can also bring risks and challenges that are not always easy to navigate. Young people thrive in secure, supportive environments both online and offline. Keeping them safe is our number one priority. We have compiled a range of resources to support parents and carers.
